Head of AMC and CIO - Public Markets

Mr. Ashutosh Tiwari is the head of AMC and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) - Public Markets. He is the fund manager for Equirus Long Horizon Fund and Equirus Flexi Cap Fund. He has over 20 years of professional experience, including 16.5 years in the securities market. He served as Managing Director & Head of Institutional Equities at Equirus Securities Private Limited, where he also held leadership roles as Head of Equities for 4 years and Head of Research for 6 years. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Research Analyst covering the Auto and Metals sectors and was ranked No. 1 for Earnings Estimates in the Automobile sector by the Thomson StarMine Analyst Awards in 2015. Known for his contrarian investment approach, He began his securities market journey with KR Choksey Shares and Securities after working as a Mining Engineer at Hindustan Zinc (Vedanta Resources Plc). He is MBA qualified in Finance and has completed his graduation (B.Tech) in Mining Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi.
