An alumnus of The IIM Calcutta, Mridul Jalan got exposed to Equity Market in his teens and got fascinated by it immediately. His inclination to numbers and analysis found the destination and became his first love. Even after his MBA he chose to come back to markets instead of exploring other career options. Having seen the bad delivery scam, UTI scam and Lehman Bros bankruptcy early in his career, Mridul understand the aftermath of risk, thus risk management and returns go hand in hand for him. He strongly believes the edge in research is predicting the future and the rationale for it, by managing the risk at the portfolio level, at Senora Asset Management Mridul leads fund management and research.
