Fund Manager
Mr. Tushar Agrawal serves as the Fund Manager for the Grobiz SME Opportunity Fund. He brings over ten years of industry experience, during which he has supported the growth of more than 50 early-stage enterprises within the private markets. His extensive involvement in building companies from their inception allows him to effectively identify promising businesses early, specifically those exhibiting sustainable competitive advantages, prudent capital management, and ambitious founders capable of consistent operational delivery. Within Grobiz, Mr. Agrawal is constructing a fund that adopts this promoter-centric approach for both listed and unlisted Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The objective is to pinpoint businesses with scalable models, demonstrating operational efficiency and benefiting from favorable structural trends. He holds the conviction that India's SME sector will be instrumental in the nation's progression towards achieving an economy exceeding $10 trillion. Consequently, he is dedicated to collaborating with proactive promoters to unlock this potential. His investment strategy focuses on compounding capital effectively for investors by identifying fundamentally robust SME businesses at critical growth phases. Mr. Agrawal is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore and the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur.
