He was honored with India's Best Analyst Award in 2012 and 2014 by the former President of India. Mr. Gupta served on the advisory panel of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) during the introduction of new derivative products. He has actively participated as a speaker at numerous seminars both domestically and internationally, offering comprehensive insights into equity markets. Previously, he managed the Foreign Institutional Investor (FII) desk in Hong Kong for ICICI Securities. He frequently provides expert commentary on equity markets through prominent media channels such as CNBC and ET Now. Academically, he holds a Gold Medal in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University and an MBA in Finance from IBS Hyderabad.

With over 13 years of professional experience, including more than 11 years dedicated to private wealth management, the individual brings a robust background. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) from BIT Mesra and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from IBS Hyderabad. Further professional credentials include holding the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) Charter from GARP and progressing as a CFA (US) Level 3 candidate.

Principal Officer & Fund Manager

With over 15 years of dedicated involvement in the Indian financial landscape, this individual possesses a proven track record in trading equity instruments, encompassing both index-based and single stock positions. Their analytical capabilities extend to a comprehensive grasp of macroeconomic influences, both within India and internationally, that impact a diverse spectrum of asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and foreign exchange. Further specialized knowledge in the equities domain has been acquired through participation in targeted seminars and executive education programs conducted in London, Hong Kong, and Singapore. This individual holds an MBA in Finance from IIM Calcutta, graduating in the 2009 cohort.

Mr. Vivek leads the multi-asset Portfolio Management Services at ICICI Securities, bringing 17 years of comprehensive industry experience. His expertise lies in delivering enhanced investment outcomes for clients through informed counsel, drawing upon his robust background in research, analysis, and advisory functions. As an allocator, he shapes investment strategies and manages discretionary and customized multi-manager investment solutions. Before his tenure at ICICI Securities Private Wealth Division, Mr. Vivek held significant positions at prominent financial entities such as Franklin Templeton, CLSA, and Bank of America. He holds an MS in Finance from ICFAI and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
