Prior to his current role, Rakshit accumulated six years of experience (2005-2011) focusing on the United Kingdom equity market. He held positions at Lloyds Bank, serving as Director of Institutional Equity Research, and at Execution Noble, where he led sector analysis. During this period, his expertise in UK Insurance mid-cap equities earned him consistent recognition, ranking among the top three analysts in Thomson Reuters Extel surveys. Since 2011, Rakshit has been instrumental in developing Ambit Capital's consumer research division. This franchise achieved the number one ranking for Discretionary Consumer research and secured a top-three position for Consumer Staples research in both 2015 and 2016. In March 2017, he initiated Ambit’s Coffee Can Portfolio Management Service (PMS), which he managed until December 2018. Under his stewardship, Ambit’s Coffee Can PMS emerged as a leading equity product in India during 2018, demonstrating strong performance. Educational Background: Rakshit holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree from IIT Delhi and is a CFA charterholder.
