Rohit, co-founder and CIO of ArthAlpha, is an accomplished data scientist and investment professional with extensive experience in AI/ML-driven quantitative investing, financial engineering, and data science. Before co-founding ArthAlpha, he served as the CIO at True Beacon, where he led the launch of India’s first AI-driven long-only quantitative equity fund, combining fundamental analysis with machine-learning models to deliver differentiated returns and attract institutional and high-net-worth clients. Rohit brings over 20 years of experience in financial markets across India, Singapore, and the United States, with a stellar track record of building quantitative investment strategies in both Indian and global markets.Previously, Rohit co-founded Riemann Capital (Singapore), where he advised institutional investors and family offices on financial data science and traded Indian equity derivatives using deep learning models. He also founded a quantitative hedge fund, Roaring Numbers (US), which was later acquired by a family office within the first year of operations. Rohit has worked for top global and regional banking institutions (ICICI Bank, Citibank, Credit Agricole CIB, ANZ). In his last banking position, he built and led the wealth solutions business for ANZ in Asia, assembling a high-performance team that drove innovation in investment and financing solutions across asset classes. Rohit is a Chartered Accountant turned data scientist with the CFA (US) charter and a Sloan Fellow (MS-Business) from Stanford GSB. He also holds graduate certificates in AI/ML and Data Science from MIT and Harvard. Rohit’s insights on AI in finance and market strategy are regularly featured in The Economic Times, Mint, and Moneycontrol.
